I have an item I would like to have upholstered, what is the process for working with Swatch Design Company?
1. Fill out the online form to request a quote for your item
2. Schedule a consult to speak directly with Sarah or Danielle to discuss fabric options and design details of your item. Once fabric is selected we require a 50% deposit to order your fabric.
3. We will contact you once the fabric has arrived and schedule a time for you to drop off your item or request curb-side pick up
4. We will reupholster your item, make it beautiful, and send you pictures of the completed item
5. Schedule a time to pick up your item or request curb-side delivery. The remaining balance is due upon completion of your item.

Where do I buy fabric? Can I use my own?
We have Swatches in many colors, patterns and textures, and are happy to help guide you towards what fabric will work best for your project and lifestyle. Of course should you choose to source out your own fabric we will definitely work with it, however we cannot warranty the quality or longevity of the fabric.
How much material do I need?
The amount of material is based on the size of the piece, details such as welt, and the type of material you choose; patterns or stripes require more materials for pattern matching. See our yardage chart for an approximate quantity.
Can I purchase fabric through Swatch Design Company for my own DIY projects?
Absolutely! We can direct you to all of our trusted supplier websites. If you find something you’d like we will send you a Swatch to review prior to ordering.
Do you offer pick-up and delivery options?
Yes we do! We are happy to provide a curb side pick-up/delivery option.
What is the timeline for upholstery and sewing projects?
The short answer is 4 weeks or less, however the time frame is dependant on our work load and size of your project.
Do you provide any warranty?
If you order your fabric through us, the suppliers and manufacturers do provide a warranty on the fabric. Swatch Design Company is happy to provide a 2 year warranty on our craftsmanship; seams, zippers, buttons, piping etc.
Does Swatch Design Company refinish the wood on furniture?
Swatch Design Company does not refinish wood ourselves, however we work closely with some local shops who are happy to revitalize the wood elements of a piece while we focus on the upholstery.
Does Swatch Design Company do interior designing or staging?
Swatch Design Company works with “Revisions Home Styling” for interior design and staging.
